RELAXED WORSHIP GUIDELINES

No More Registering for Worship!
PLEASE NOTE that virtual worship will continue for the foreseeable future until such time that it is deemed unnecessary or no longer has attendance. Attending In-Person remains voluntary, but those who are vaccinated are highly encouraged to return to our in-person worshipping community!

What You Need to Know
The Return to Worship Committee has modified DLC's guidelines for both Worship and all other church activities.  These changes are based on updated guidelines provided by the Public Health Department of Madison and Dane County and the Wisconsin Council of Churches in conjunction with the Current Covid Statistics for Dane County.

These positive changes are a balanced approach that will allow us more opportunities to come together as a community of faith.

Effective Immediately

  • Registration for worship is no longer required.

  • There is no longer a limit on the number of people who may attend worship.

  • Masks will continue to be encouraged, yet will not be required for fully vaccinated people who attend worship while not singing.

  • Dane County Health and CDC recommends those who are not vaccinated to continue to wear masks in public settings such as Worship to keep our community safe.*

  • Communion will be taken together during worship.

    • You will receive your communion elements as you enter the sanctuary and are asked to keep them with you until it is time for communion.

    • Drive-Thru communion will continue to be offered thru June 20th.

    • Beginning June 27th communion will only be taken during the worship service.  â€‹

  • Communion Beyond June 20th

    • Beginning June 21st, if you have a need that requires you to worship virtually from home please call the church office before 4 pm on Monday and leave a message letting Angie know you need to set up a time to pick up communion elements for the following Sunday’s worship service.

  • Singing will be returning to worship.  It is important to note that masks will be required for all people** who wish to sing.
