WE ARE A YEAR INTO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, SO WHAT DOES THAT MEAN FOR THE CHURCH?

Each person and each family have their own comfort levels for living in our new and strange world.  It is not our place to judge others on how they choose to live in this time of pandemic.

It is our church's place to insure that ALL people have a way to engage in Christian community when they need and want to.

Here at Deerfield Lutheran Church, for nearly a year this has primarily looked like virtual engagement.  Through virtual technology offered by Zoom we have been able to host live virtual worship each Sunday morning that our members and visitors have been able to attend by calling in OR by logging in online.  We are grateful this technology exists and is affordably available.

It is also our church's place to insure that ALL engagement we offer be done in safely, in reflection of the Lutheran Ethic of neighbor care.

And it is with this in mind that beginning Sunday, March  7, 2021 we will begin offering weekly limited in-person worship and weekly drive-thru communion alongside our current virtual worship options

.
